For this project I wanted to explore the Instagram Application using the OSI Model. I thought it would be a neat way to actually make a mock up instagram using pictures that will describe each layer of the OSI model. I created an account with the username as osimodel. I then figured out a way to post some pictures on the internet to create this diagram with instagram. I just snapped shot pictures to make the diagram easier to understand. There is a link you can go to to actually see the webpage of the Instagram site: http://instagram.com/osimodel. I based this example on a picture that I took of my bracelet to use as a dummy. This is a great tool to actually pick apart and understand the OSI model by using an application that is well known to others. You always wonder how these applications are made, and how a picture can be transfered/uploaded to another device, or devices. Many people have access to Instagram. It is a free fun way to store your pictures creatively.
