Here are the final class submissions for our XML class during Spring 2010:

(demonstrated how a valid XML-based language document could be presented with CSS directly)

(implemented an XML Schema validated XML language reader with AJAX and PHP)

(used almost all our tricks to drive an online Content Management System with XML)

(created various academic examples for a group of wonderful and worthy students)

(drove a spiffy wine table from a validated XSL translation using a home spun XML-based language)
Doug
(drove a monthly theme page from a validated XML language file)
Jay(wrote two valid XSL Transformations to convert iTunes Music Playlists into his XML-based language and various music reports - they worked on my playlist!)
Jenn
(wrote a photo gallery XML language, validated it with a DTD, and then used a Javascript interface to fill an HTML-based gallery for Firefox, Safari, or Chrome Web browsers)

(drove a TIFF based output from querying Pub Med and End Notes XML-compiled documents with XQuery and valid XSL Transformations)
Maria
(implemented an AJAX interface to reading an XML catalog)
Michelle
(drove Scalable Vector Graphics presentations directly from validated XML data)

(created a full interactive dietary recommendation application from validated XML data)

(is combining XML data validation and presentation tricks with a backend mysql database serving up the data)
