Why
I am designing this website for my aunts new salon she just opened. I made the website for her personally, but dedicated a page to her salon, twentyone twentyone. I went with clam, neutral colors to go along with the relaxing spa theme while using pops of teal in spots to tie in the logo of the salon.

How
I changed all the original typefaces that came with the template. i used a more handwritten typeface in the headers to give it a personal feel, and used a modern sans-serif to offset it in the body and to increase legibility. I added a cotton texture background image to give the page more dimension and tie in the spa feel.

Where
I made the Tara Mercedes Cullen and twenty-one logos in Illustrator and "saved them for the web" so I could save the transparent aspects in them and be able to get the background through them. On the home page i'm going to introduce my aunt, her services and her salon. On the about page i'll go into more depth about her background and schooling. On the twentyone page, I'll tie in her co-worker and put up a list of services and prices.

Details
The contact page will pretty much stay the same, just updated. Next I plan on adding all the correct text and information in and cleaning up all the lose ends and extra links the template came with. I will continue investigating the discussion and updates for this Dance Website Template.
