Fitbit Sense packaging

Fitbit Versa 3 & Sense Packaging

A complete redesign on the unboxing and on-boarding experience of a Fitbit user, “Phoenix” was the name of the project, but is now used to refer to Fitbit’s new generation of packaging. Using completely recyclable materials and the elimination of almost all plastic from the retail packaging, Fitbit’s new packaging is completely home recyclable and has a much more elevated design. The packaging has won various awards and recognition from groups such as Fast Company, Core77, Spark, Red Dot, iF World Design Guide, IDSA, and Green Good Design.

Google AIY Voice Kit

The Google "assemble it yourself" vision kit allows users to assemble mechanical parts into a cardboard cube enclosure to act as a "smart" speaker. The cube can then be connected to a computer to program it using Python so that users can teach the speaker unique and personalized commands. I developed and designed the entire enclosure and layout of components, taking in to account mechanical and assembly needs/constraints.
